The family history begins in 1935 with Antonis Kritikos, dealing in Athens initially, with the construction of wooden frames and furniture. The difficulty and complexity of the work led by this resourceful grandfather with his restless spirit and inventive techniques ensured that the work was completed in the right manner, but also quickly and effectively. In 1948 a machine was constructed using the shaft of a German tank in conjunction with a diesel engine which gave motion to a ribbon and one smoothing plane.

His son, Nikos Kritikos, in line with developments, designed and built the first generation of doors and windows with rubbers and mechanisms.

In 1981 he founded the company Paros Carpenters (Expa sa) and remained president until 2003, when he founded the N. Kritikos - A.Kritikos OE in a small private basement. In 2006 the proprietary factory Kritikoswood of Paros was created, which even today is considered the most technologically equipped in Greece.

In 2009, with all of the tradition handed down and having tried most types of wood, they began importing the innovative Accoya wood with exclusivity in Greece.

In 2013 the construction of the second factory in the Industrial Area of Eleonas Viotia, began, which was completed in 2016. The new plant, a hub, is to relaunch the company imports of raw materials and exports. The company specializes in products and highly demanding constructions and time value structures. The small workshop that never stopped, never ceased to exist, and reflects the spirit and the philosophy of the company.
